Calm your mind, settle your body and find a softer focus to your day as we introduce guided meditation at Balance Yoga on Monday January 9. The class consists of a beginning breathwork with a brief description of that day's plan, then progressing into guided meditation drawing from many traditions which may include Mantra Meditation, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness, Chakra Crystal Singing Bowl Meditation and more. Meditation can be practiced seated on a provided backjack chair, on yoga blankets or with blocks for comfort and support.

Beginners to practicing meditators will benefit from this class. Drop-in rate for GM is only $15, or is covered by your membership or other yoga class packs.
The February 28 Day Yoga Challenge is back in 2017 for a 7th year, and this year promises to be the best year yet! Join your fellow yogis as we come together to focus on our practices in the month of February by committing to take a yoga class every single day of the month. If you complete all 28 classes, you will receive custom Balance Yoga yoga apparel, and be entered to one of many awesome prizes donated by local businesses. The prize list is coming together and will be announced soon, but for now, mark your calendar and set your focus on taking part in Balance Yoga's most anticipated annual tradition.

In preparation for Balance Yoga's Annual February 28 Day Yoga Challenge, we are encouraging our community to also challenge themselves during these 28 days to Eat Clean and Be Happy. This workshop has all the information you'll need to support eating clean and healthy while practicing yoga every day in February.
What foods are good for me? What foods should I stay away from? Why can't I eat sugar? How do I eat intuitively and mindfully? How do I know what "diet" or eating lifestyle is best for me?
We will answer these questions and sample foods and smoothies. Please, bring a notebook to take notes!
