QIJONG WORKSHOP with Gayl Hudatch OMD, LAc
This is an innovative workshop to help you utilize 2 powerful healing systems that have stood the test of time: Qigong and Yoga. Both Qigong from China and Yoga from India build and regulate energy in your body.
This workshop will focus on Qigong and give you a deeper understanding of the similarities and differences of these 2 ancient systems. You will gain insights as to your own healing abilities and learn from practice experience so you can further enhance your life force energy.
Qigong uses 3 main principles: 1. Posture / alignment; 2. Breath, and ; 3. Intention / focus.
These are also principles of yoga. This workshop will give you practical ways to bring these principles into your daily experience in order to help you stay aligned, healthy and purposeful in your life. Join us for this fun and informative Qigong experience!

Yin Yoga has been a popular class at Balance Yoga for years, but was only offered on Thursday nights. In order to give more people an opportunity to experience this deeply relaxing class, we are adding 2 additional class times with the excellent Malia Scott.

Meditation is Back!
Guided Meditation, after a brief Summer hiatus, is back on the schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning 9/19.
Meditation can be practiced seated on a provided backjack chair, on yoga blankets or with blocks for comfort and support. The class consists of a beginning breathwork with a brief description of that day's plan, then progressing into guided meditation drawing from many traditions which may include Mantra Meditation, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness, Chakra Crystal Singing Bowl Meditation and more. Beginners to practicing meditators will benefit from this class.
